Software for design of braided structures

There are two unique software packages for design of braided strutures.

The Software "TexMind Braider" provide tools for development of standard tubular and flat braided products, their interlacement and colour arrangement. 

The company TexMind provides for education purposes free, time limited, versions on request from the web page www.texmind.com

The production of different variations of flat braids is documented in the next one video

Completely different principle is implemented in the software "Braiding machine configurator" of the same company. The "Configurator" help the users in simulative way to create virtual braiding machine and check different configurations of it.

The design of more advanced profiles is complicated and requires patience and longer number of trials.
