Long kimono sleeve with armpit gusset [edit]

Deep the armhole of the front and back piece

Copy the new curves from the front and back piece on the sleeve cup

Split the sleeve

Draw the armpit gusset on the back and front piece

Trace the armpit gusset

Merge the pieces

Set the sleeve on to front piece at the end shoulder point

Rotate the sleeve

Replace the contour lines

Raglan sleeve [edit]

Preliminary preparation of the front and back pieces

Deepen the neckline

Rotate the dart of the front piece in the side seam

Rotate the dart of the back piece in the back middle line, deep the armhole

Develop the raglan form over the basic construction. Draw the raglan curve

Trace the raglan pieces 

Adjustment of the sleeve construction

• Replace the contour lines
• Rotate the dart in the back piece

Deep the sleeve cup

Match the sleeve with the armpit area of the front piece. Measure the distance along the perimeter line

Draw a line for match the sleeve with the front raglan piece

Match the sleeve with the front raglan piece. Set and rotate the piece

Draw a line for match the sleeve with the back raglan piece

Match the sleeve with the back raglan piece. Set and rotate the piece

Rotate the dart of the sleeve

Draw the outer seam of the sleeve

Trace the front and the back pieces of the sleeve
